Guns n' Roses
Four years after their triumphant return to Manchester Guns N' Roses are back at the M.E.N Arena this autumn with their constantly evolving Chinese Democracy World Tour. The tour is said to be the largest undertaking in Rock history kicking off back in 2001, to preview new material from the then long rumoured Chinese Democracy album. The rumours were true and Chinese Democracy becameone of the most highly anticipated albums of all time, finally released globally to widespread acclaim on 23rd November 2008. Since then the constantly evolving tour has circled the globe over the last 9 years to over 3.5 million people at 163 concerts making this a must see tour of momentous proportions Guns N' Roses have sold over 90 million records worldwide and remain one of Rock's most vital bands, making witnessing them live a rite of passage for even the most casual Rock fan.

Meat Loaf
Meat Loaf returns to the M.E.N Arena this winter to celebrate the release of his latest album Hang Cool Teddy Bear. An exclusive copy of Hang Cool Teddy Bear - including four brand new live tracks - will be given away to all ticketholders on entry to the Manchester show.
Returning to the Arena for the first time since 2007's sold-out shows, Meat Loaf will be performing tracks from Hang Cool Teddy Bear - a title taken from a line in the cult Russ Meyer trash movie Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls - alongside hits from his classic rock back catalogue including Bat Out Of Hell, Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad and I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That).

Roger Waters
Roger Waters, the creative genius behind musical pioneers Pink Floyd, is set to bring his groundbreaking masterpiece, The Wall, to the M.E.N Arena next spring. Celebrating the seminal album's 30th anniversary, the 2011 concerts will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for fans to witness a full band performing The Wall in its entirety, with a specially designed state-of-the-art stage show designed by album illustrator Gerald Scarfe. Boasting Pink Floyd classics including Comfortably Numb, Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2, Mother, Run Like Hell and Young Lust, The Wall remains one of the top five best-selling albums of all time. The show starts with the wall broken down and throughout the first half bricks are built. The second half is played with the wall completely built. Roger Waters is developing dynamic new video graphics and visual images to illustrate the story and the songs, using an 8,000 sq ft wall as a huge screen. The show features all the Roger Waters scale grandeur and special effects such as original Gerald Scarfe imagery, crashing aeroplane, quadraphonic sound, pyrotechnics, spot pods, gigantic inflatable puppets, projection, video mapping and many elaborate effects.

Faithless
After a summer of acclaimed festival appearances, Faithless have announced a return to the M.E.N Arena this winter. Maxi Jazz and Sister Bliss return to the Manchester venue for the first time in three years to perform tracks from their brand new album The Dance alongside hits from their explosive back catalogue spanning 15 years. Famous for their monster dance tracks Insomnia, God Is A DJ and Mass Destruction, the band's latest single Feeling Good - featuring family member Dido - is out now. The album The Dance - which includes guest vocalists Dougy Mandagi (The Temper Trap), Itch (The King Blues) and classical singer Mia Maestro - is also out now. Faithless will be joined in Manchester by special guest EXAMPLE.

Linkin Park
Nu-metal rap-rockers Linkin Park will perform their first UK show of this year at Manchester's M.E.N Arena. The Californian six-piece return to the Arena for the first time since January 2008 to perform tracks from their rap-rock back catalogue including Numb, Somewhere I Belong and the top ten hit single What I've Done. Formed in 1996, Linkin Park have sold over 50 million records worldwide since their 2000 debut Hybrid Theory. 2003's follow up, Meteora, continued the band's success and was crowned the third best selling album in the States in 2003.
Known for their unique collaborations, the group teamed up with M.E.N Arena favourite Jay-Z in 2004 for the critically acclaimed mash-up album Collision Course. The band's next album, 2007's Minutes To Midnight, topped charts throughout the world and featured the explosive hits Shadow Of The Day, Bleed It Out and What I've Done. Linkin Park is Chester Bennington (vocals), Rob Bourdon (drums), Brad Delson (guitar), Joe Hahn (DJ), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass), and Mike Shinoda (vocals).

Shakira
Hot on the heels of her captivating Glastonbury and World Cup performances, Shakira has announced she will make her M.E.N Arena debut this Christmas. Performing at the Manchester venue for the first time ever, the South American singer-songwriter will be showcasing tracks from her collection of smash hits including She Wolf, Waka Waka, Hips Don't Lie and 2001's breakthrough single Whenever, Wherever. One of the most exciting and successful female artists in recent history - with over 200 global award nominations and more than 50 million albums sold worldwide - Shakira is also the founder and President of the Barefoot Foundation (Pies Descalzos), a founding member of the ALAS Foundation and an ambassador for 1GOAL and UNICEF.

Tim Minchin
Comedy rock superstar Tim Minchin will make his M.E.N Arena debut this Christmas. After Jason Manford and John Bishop announced their M.E.N Arena debuts earlier this year, the Never Mind The Buzzcocks star will play the Manchester venue for the first time as part of his brand new UK tour - complete with a 55 piece orchestra! The Australian comedian, musician and actor has recorded two BBC Radio 2 specials - Tim Minchin & Friends and Tim Minchin's Loving & Peaceful Yuletide Half Hour - as well as appearing in the TV shows Comedy Shuffle, The World Stands Up and Comedy Cuts. Minchin has also released three live comedy albums - Dark Side, So Rock and last year's Ready For This? - as well as a debut DVD, So Live, recorded at the Sydney Opera House in 2007.
