Muse Muse have announced details of an Autumn UK and European tour to coincide with the release of their forthcoming album, The Resistance. The band has self-produced their fifth studio album in Italy, which will be mixed with Mark Spike Stent (Massive Attack, U2 and Oasis). The UK leg of the tour will kick off at the Sheffield Arena on Wednesday 4th November. It goes without saying that fans can expect an ambitious and powerful show from these three friends from Teignmouth in Devon; remember they were the first band to play the newly built Wembley Stadium back in 2007. The 140,000 lucky fans in attendance were treated to the band rising from the middle of the venue, floating acrobatics, giant exploding balloons and of course, an unbelievably spectacular set from one of the most ambitious live acts in the world today.

Beyonce Just days after her sold-out M.E.N Arena performance, Beyonce Knowles - described in the Manchester Evening News as a "glittering showgirl" - has announced she will return to the city for a second show later this year. News of Beyonce's November return will come as welcome relief to her North West fans after last month's M.E.N Arena sold-out show became one of the most sought after tickets of the year so far. Currently riding high in the charts with Halo - the third single to be taken from her latest album I Am . . . Sasha Fierce - Beyonce will jet back into Manchester after taking her I Am World Tour across Europe, North America and Australasia this summer. The singer, songwriter, producer and actress will return to perform tracks from I Am . . . Sasha Fierce alongside UK No 1 hit singles Baby Boy, Déjà vu, Beautiful Liar and the infectious 2004 anthem Crazy In Love.
